i had a boat shipped from texas to washington. i think it was $2000, great price for the distance.
I had a boat shipped from Idaho to Missouri this past winter. I used a transporter the selling dealer recommended. I have heard good things about U-Ship, but with so many shippers on that site the quality will vary. My dealer recommended pulling the boat on its own trailer rather than shipping the boat and trailer on a flat bed. The dealer said the latter resulted in boat damage too many times during loading on and unloading off the flat bed. The dealer also recommended shrink wrapping the boat for transit rather than just shipping with the covers on it. I think the shrink wrap was a good idea.
Had our sport shipped from CA to IA last fall. 1200 miles. We used uship and paid under 1k (he had a driver out there that was going to drive home empty so that helped)
