Great looking boat! I'm normally not a V drive fan, but I want one these to park along side my 196. All it would take is the extra cash:-(

Are those puzzle graphics vinyl or in the gel? That's the only negative I have with the SPT200, but an easy fix with a special order I'm assuming.

How are the revs at 34/36? I'm going to assume very similar to the SN 200? Would the 6.0 be the optimal engine for it?

I just saw in the lastest Waterski that Bu has come out with their version, minus the world record approval rating.

I have been thinking about getting out of my 01 Sunsetter lxi and getting a 210 but maybe the 200 is worth a look. I am one of those who do everything board, ski course 22 off and barefoot. The Sunsetter has been good but could definitely be improved for wakeboarding. I would love to hear the comparison of the wakes once you get it dialed in.

I pleasantly find this funny that everyone is questioning the wakeboard wake of a V-drive instead of the skiing wake

Dinsdale, what kind of bimini do you have?

I spent about an hour going through a Sport 200 at the dealer a couple of weeks ago. I think a barefoot boom would fit between the windshield and tower, but it would be angled back slightly.

I think the Sport 200 will have a higher top end than the ski 200 because of the weight moved to the back.

The bimini is from Roswell. Truthfully I haven't even unzipped the boot yet!
They claim a top end of 44 mph. We're not totally broken in yet so best so far is 42. I'm not a footer but that sounds a little slow.
Ski wake is quite different from the old Bu. Whereas the Bu felt like a left wake and a right wake, this feels like just one bump. It's a tiny bit harder than the Bu's but you are through it so fast it's like "what was that"? By the way, that's at 22 off, 33 mph. I know after a few more skis I'll have it dialed in!

I was hopeful that this would be the case as well, but I dont believe it is. CC did all they could to make the 200 Sport ride flat like a direct drive- and they added a significant amount of hook to the outer edges of the hull to do so. The 6.0L (409hp) is only good for 47mph, just like the DD. A friend of ours is dropping his new 200 Sport (343) in the lake next weekend, we'll have to see if its in the 42-44mph range as well.

Boat looks awesome. What colour is it? Tough to tell in that light. I assume the pictures were taken at Wizard Lake Marine?

Yes they were taken at Wizard. Middle exterior color is gunmetal metalic.
