    What a crappy day

I spent 2 days in the hospital last fall for my apendix and was out for the best last 8 weeks of the season. Flash to this year and the ice hs been off the lakes for 7 weeks, but, alas, I had to work 65 hour weeks and 16 hour days every 2nd day until about a week ago. I was not able to ride until last night. It was my first ride in 8 months, my longest dry spell since I was 13. I get 2 quick board runs and one surf run and somewhere inbetween, I apparently hurt my finger. So much so that I needed to go to the doctor because I could barely move it because of all the swelling. Doc says I might need therapy, however, nothing broken that the xray saw. I cant catch a break for the life of me. I am supposably out untill it feels better and god knows how long that will be.

After a major dry spell, I get my stoke destroyed by a bum finger At least my wife isnt pregnant this year and I can pull her around.

I cannot imagine you need that finger to surf.

Hope it heals fast. Sorry to hear it.

I don't think you need it to wakeboard either. When I was 16, I waterskied an entire summer with a broken are and my thumb immobilized. My arm wasn't healed when I got my cast off, but having a broken arm wasn't going to keep from being behind the boat.

lil tendon damage. ride on. climbers climb all day on messed up tendons. i konw for a fact that is harder on your fingers than wakeboarding. tape 2 together and do the thing.

When I was about 12 I broke my arm before a week long ski trip. I had a fiberglass cast and skied all week. When I got home it smelled so bad my grandpa cut it off.
