We just sold our boat, '98 Supra Comp, and we are looking to upgrade to an open bow that we can wakeboard and surf behind! I would like to stay within a budget of $25-$30K, any pointers as to which models I should look at or stay away from? We are located in Northeast, Ohio and are willing to travel for the right boat! I think I want a SANTE, but am open to other options - what else should I be looking at? We are rookies at both boarding and surfing, but would like a boat that we can use for a number of years into the future.

My first post.....
I purchased a 2004 210 Super Sport about 2 months ago. All of the super air nautiques I found were either a little more "used" than I wanted or were too expensive. I found a one owner boat owned by an older gentleman with less than 300 hrs. Had a factory tower on it but no ballast. Didn't look like it had ever been boarded behind it. Interior was perfect, exterior had a few minor gelcoat scratches and scrapped up stickers. Got him down to $29k and figured I could add my own ballast system.....
So far it's worked out great! Added a trio of fat sacs, a tsunami pump, a 1236 acme prop, and upgraded the sound system.... Also re-stickered the boat, but wakesurfing and fresh stickers didn't work out to well.... still have to take care of that, but been too busy using the boat and it doesn't look too bad without stickers.Comment
