LINC System Clock

We have a new Nautique with the LINC system and I can't get the clock set. It always says 8:00 Eastern. I've gone through all the menues and can change between 12 and 24 as well as change the time zone. I believe it is reading from the GPS. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Is the boat outside where it can get a gps signal or is it in a garage? If it is inside, it may not have the gps signal that it needs to get the time. If it is outside, you may have a gps error. Go into the diagnostic screen on ZeroOff and look for gps errors. To get there hold the "on/off button down for a couple seconds until the menu pops up on the top row. use the up/down arrow buttons to select the left most choice (can't remember the title without seeing my ZeroOff head unit). Push the select button, use the up down arrows to scroll down to "diagnostics", then hit the select button again. The serial number and software version will show at the top of the screen. If any errors are present they will be listed right below that info. If you don't have a seperate ZeroOff head unit (linc display only), I don't know how to pull up the diagnostics for ZeroOff.

My Linc has the right time but it always shows tomorrows date.

Mine shows 8:00 if the engine isn't running. Does the clock show the correct time when you start the engine? Mine does.

I checked last night and I think I may have a bad GPS Puck. I am getting a GPS 1 Failure code in Zero Off. Zero Off worked fine the last time we skied but I didn't have a course mapped since we were using a portable course at a different site. Does anyone know if I won't be able to map a course with only one puck working. I had a puck go bad in our last boat as well, anyone else have issues with these?

One other qeustion on the LINC. Is it true that the air temp does not work? Thought I had heard that and ours reads blank.

Used our new 210 for the first time this weekend and the air temp seemed to be working just fine. Time also seemed to be working but I never really compared it to a watch to verify.

my lake water temp always always read about 10 degrees below actual water temp.

Unlocked vs. Run Mode

I think this is a Run Mode vs Unlocked Mode issue. I was confused by this as well... Everything looks to power up when you go into unlocked mode but the clock, date, and maybe some other stuff I haven't found yet is either blank or populated with dummy data. If you press start one more time to go into Run Mode (you don't need to start the engine) all the dummy data updates to real data.

Watching this thread with interest as I have the same issue with the clock on my 200 OB team. Been through the manual and cannot get the time correct.

As I said earlier, clock works, date is wrong, air temperature has never worked. Water temp works, but I think it reads low.

Try unplugging the gps pucks under the dash and trading the wires they are plugged into. If the error goes to "GPS 2 failure, it is the puck, if the failure stays the same, it is the wiring harness.

Switched the plugs and now have a GPS 2 Failure so it looks like I need a new puck. This did fix the clock however so the clock must rely on the puck that is prgrammed as #1.

I have a 2014 Nautique 200 Closed bow.
My LINC 2.0 clock froze at 12:36 in the middle of a boating day.
You nailed it. One of my GPS pucks is bad. I found the connections where the pucks connect to the LINC harnesses. When I switched the 2 connections, the clock worked again. From there, I connected each puck individually to each LINC harness spot.
I had to turn the main switch off, then back on, and reboot LINC. With one puck, I had satellites on LINC when it was connected to either LINC harness spot, and clock time when it was in the one LINC harness spot. With the other puck, I had no satellites on my LINC display no matter what, and no clock time.
