2005 SANTE on a single axle trailer?

Looking to try to purchase an 05 SANTE that is on a single axle trailer, the seller is concerned with me towing the boat home 10 hours on the trailer, he said he is not sure it will make it? What am I missing, yes a dual axle would be nice - but my Supra rode on a single axle without any issues. Any reason to be concerned? From the pictures it looks like a single axle Eagle trailer.

I'm assuming it's the trailer he purchased with the boat? Did he say what his concern is? Is he worried about tires blowing out, broken axle, wheel bearings, etc.? I don't see why that incarnation of the 210 wouldn't make it 10 hours on a single? It's not the ideal trailer for it, but it should still work. I'd definitely bring a spare though - but I'd do that with any trailer. Tell him to knock $500 of the price so you can add an axle to it. I've seen a handful of people go that route.

The boat and trailer is about 4500 lbs. See what the rating is on each tire. Add those up and see what you get. It should be ok. Just drive 55

My 04 SANTE is on a single Axle Ram-line trailer. She does just fine, much better than I thought she would actually. I have not gone 10 hrs, but I have towed her a little over 4 hrs with no issues. Sounds like you have a tow vehicle you know can handle a wakeboard boat on a single axle trailer. I use a half ton pickup. Unless something is wrong with the trailer, I would just make sure it has good tires and a spare.

My super sport (same as a SAN, just no tower) rides on a single axle ramlin and does just fine. I've hauled 6+ hours in a day no problem. As the other posters have said, if the trailer is appropriate for the boat and has been maintained you should be fine, especially if it's mostly highway.

Pull the covers off the bearing and inspect them - make sure they are fully packed with new grease and make sure the cold tire pressure is right at 65psi before departing.
