potential new nautique owner - thank you sail and sk in Austin, TX

I have been looking at tige, MC, malibu, and nautique for about a month now. I had been leaning toward the Tige RZ2 and Malibu VLX. I have been in Round Rock, TX for work training and decided that I needed a new place to ride out and kill some time. I looked up the local nautique dealer and found that it was Sail and Ski in Austin. I stopped in to look around today. They were super helpful. I even explained that I was just here on business, but the salesman took me and my wife around (she was in for the weekend visiting me) and showed us all the nautique models and features of each one. We spent time in a sport 200, SAN 210, SAN230, sport 216, and sport 226. He even recommended some good places to eat and places to see while in town. I believe his name was James, but I don't recall.

I wish I lived near this dealership. Just wanted to give a plug to them for taking the time to educate me and my wife even though they knew that we were only in town on business and couldn't purchase from them.

BTW, wife and I loved the nautiques.

If you need help sealing the deal just check out the outer manufactures forum and read about the problems and service issues they have. Don't bother with the MasterCraft forum they wont allow anything derogatory to be posted on their forum.
Then compare to this one. If there is a problem its taken care of within hours thanks to super Ron . Correct Craft really cares about you and making trouble free boats. The dont build the most just the best.

James is great. I dealt with him when I was in college. Knowing he was talking to a college student with no money he still took the time to entertain us and talk to us. I won't ever forget the day he brought out a brand new 97 Ski Nautique to our lake for a demo. The customer hadn't showed up yet and he let us take it for a ski. From that day forward I knew I had to have one. Our team was skiing behind a Mastercraft at the time. Some salesmen just get it and some don't. Little did he know that day in 97 that I would evtually have my own Nautique that oddly enough came from Sail and Ski.
