What's with the hatred of kneeboarding?

There's no reason for it anyways. It's so outdated you rarely see anybody do it anymore. Why do wakeboarders especially hate it? It just seems so small of a thing to feel so strongly about. I kneeboard still and am actually better at it than wakeboarding, but I'd choose wakeboarding over kneeboarding 90% of the time. I don't appreciate all the trash talking. One thing I'm sure of though, it certainly isn't worse than tubing.

I suppose you're right. Just for the sake of rivalry. Kneeboard is cool because you can do trick AND slalom!

I actually love to kneeboard and I also am better at it than wakeboard. I dont really understand how one is cool and one isnt. Many of the tricks are the same, and both riders are after smooth water to go big. Its not like a tuber who tears up the smooth stuff.

Well said. I sometimes bring out the Joker to show up some of these rich punk kids on their wakeboards behind X-stars and SANTEs doing wake to wakes. Occasionally they'll throw in an accidental grab. I'm not giving it up until I land a front roll. I got the back roll and off-axis 360 down.

The common kneeboard 'backroll' looks a lot like a barrel roll. My backroll is straight back, no twist at all. Kinda funny we have almost the same boat too. The Joker is an awesome board, it's a shame to see it hardly get used anymore though.

                    Long live kneeboarding.
