How do I turn on the dome and speaker lites

This is surely a dumb question, but I haven't figured out how to turn on the tower dome light and the speaker LED's on our 2011 210. There is what looks like a chrome button by the light, but it doesn't do anything. I'm guessing that's it and it just doesn't work. And does it turn on the speakers at the same time? Nothing in the manual mentions this lite or the speaker lites.
If the wind would ever stop blowing, we might actually be able to use our new boat. Seems like it's been blowing 25 to 40 since the first day we picked it up.

No kidding. It's like the freaking dust bowl in N. Texas right now, and on top of that, every little bit of rain we get just misses my lake.

The tower interior light should come on with the rest of the interior lights. The switch is on the regular keypad.

The speaker lights are not standard, so not sure on those.

My boat is the nautique edition, not a Team, so there aren't any interior lites. The toggle switches control the nav lites and I added the docking lites so there is a switch for that also. I'm a little dissapointed in the lack of interior lites for a boat in this price range. When we do figure out how to turn on the dome and speaker lites, the Z-5 is going to block most of that, so the interior would still be pretty dark. We don't really do much night prowling anyway, so it's liveable.

I don't think the nautique/signature edition has the dome or speaker lights wired up for use.

I'm not sure what a tower dome light is. Would like to see a pic. Couple comments. first, not a dumb question. Second, congrats on the new boat. Third, what dealer did you get the boat from. They should have went over all this... Forth, If you are talking about the RUNNING light on the top of the tower, the rocker swtich on the dash that turns on the front nav light should turn on the white light on top of the tower. Also that is a 2 position switch up should turn on all the lights (red green) front nav light and the white light on the top of the tower. In the lower position the tower light should open be on...Fifth, if that still doesn't work and the front red/green lights are on, unscrew the white tower light and make sure the bulb is good and screwed in properly. Sometimes they come loose.

If none of that works, it is time to start checking other connections with a meter. At that point I would start at the switch to check for power. OR take in back to the dealer.

The FCT 3 and 5 have a light on the bottom of the tower that should illuminate the cabin. It is basically right under the anchor light on top of the tower, but on the underside.

As I said before, I don't think the "Nautique/Singnature" editions have this wired.

The towers are all pre-wired to add what ever accessories you want, plus the button is there. We added all four speakers/amp/sub, etc, so it should all be hooked up. If not, we just purchased a 70K boat with no interior lites ????????
Eventually I'll call Buxton's. Don't want to have to make the long, congested drive from PK to Lewisville unless absolutely necessary.

They can at least tell you if you can turn them on. I know someone that had a "sig" edition and even though there was a switch, it was not usable for the function.

The tower is likely just prewired for speakers.

Unfortunately the Nautique/Signature edition is lacking some of the "comforts"....That is why the price point is that much less than a team....Not everyone wants interior lights/docking lights/keypad/etc...It is basic and upgradable with the items you really want....

Yea I mean if it's that big of a deal wouldn't you check to see if you have a light before you dropped 70k? I'm not sayin I'm just sayin...

I just talked to someone over at Buxton about something similar and asked this question.

They said they were 99% positive there is not a switch for this light (it is controlled from the helm by a toggle switch just like anchor/nav/ballast. etc.) and it is not pre-wired on the Nautique/Sig editions....I am going to look at my 2011 230 this evening to see what chrome button by the light you are talking about, but I control mine from the help....

They said they were 99% positive there is not a switch for this light (it is controlled from the helm by a toggle switch just like anchor/nav/ballast. etc.) and it is not pre-wired on the Nautique/Sig editions....I am going to look at my 2011 230 this evening to see what chrome button by the light you are talking about, but I control mine from the help....

I definately have the chrome button by the light, but it has that feel that it doesn't work as it doesn't have a detent or click. Kinda like a reset that doesn't need to be reset.

I saw the lights when we test drove the boat in the DAYTIME. Guess I should have asked if the lite actually worked.

Mine is DEFINITELY controlled by the button on the kepad....

The button on the dash turns on the interior lights, the button on the tower turns the overhead light on only when the interior lights are on. If i remember correctly, in is off and out is on. This is how mine work.
