2002 Super Air Nautique Hose hook-ups and Pump

    Hello Guys,
I recently purchased a 2002 SAN but until the mechanical survey and trial is completed I was wondering if anyone knew a little bit about how the hoses and all other connections/hook-up in the engine compartment are done. I have one hose and one pump I am guessing (inlet and outlet) that are both not connected. I am assuming the hose would hook up to the free end but with regards to the inlet/outlet I am not sure if they simply need plugs or if there should be lines/hoses hooked up to either side. All of this had been previously down due to the engine being winterized. Any help would be much appreciated..

Hard to tell (for me) at least by the pics, but I'm guessing it's the water pump (impeller) that has been disconnected. You absolutely need this connected. Do a search on here for impeller and you should find your answer.

Thanks for the replies, I will keep looking and researching where each end has to be hooked up to.

The way your system is plumbed you should have a hose coming from the thru hull on the bottom of the boat to the clear strainer and on to the tranny cooler over to the bottom of the raw water pump. From the raw water pump it goes up and over the motor and back to the vdrive. From the vdrive it will go back to the thermostat housing to supply the motor. Start tracing your hoses and get them sorted out.
