Good deal on 03 SAN?

475 hrs, no tower speakers, excellent condition except for the skins on the back of the engine cover which have some cracking. It has perfect pass and the hard center tank, but no shower. Dorsey trailer is in good shape but has some wear on the inner runners, would need replacing probably over the winter but nothing urgent. It is a tandem axle with a non-folding tongue.

I dont see that being a good deal really. I have seen pretty mint ones, full team editions for less than that, some of them a few years back. If there is room to play on price I would say it can get down to a reasonable price, but as far as it being a good deal, I dont think so.

Not sure if it's a TE, SE, or LE. What's the difference and maybe I can figure it out. It does have dual batteries, forgot to put that. He didn't specify. No listing really, just what I put in the original post.

But have you seen them for less during peak season? I'm thinking upper 20s would be ideal, but am kind of unsure with the time of year.

It is not a SE. You can tell by the digital gauges and keypad. I agree that you should be able to pick that up in the high 20's.

you mentioned that it has the center tank, and if it has the hard v tanks in the lockers it probably is a team ... if he wants to sell it, i would think he'll take 28 for sure

+1 at $28K. It is a Team. Only the TE had the center ballast in '03.

Must not want to sell. My offer was originally 27.5 as is then I went to 28 as is or 29 if he fixed skins. Oh well. Looking at an 04 with a little more time for same money now. Just gotta decide if I want to go 700 miles to get it.

You can order a Limited with every option that a TEAM has, so you will not really know if it was a factory TEAM.

Then wouldn't it just be a TEAM? I guess you could call it a fully loaded limited but now we are just talking semantics.

I guess the only way would to see the original order form. If the original owner ordered a TEAM then that's it, everything was standard. It could of been ordered as a Limited with a few or all of the TEAM options.

There was a dealer here in CA that wouldn't order TEAM's. He would order Limited's and add almost all the TEAM options, never understood that...............
