That's right, I admit it, I did some wakeboarding behind a Ski Nautique 200. And it felt good, yes it felt sooooo good. There I said it. Now arrest me and throw me in jail, that's what I deserve!
Joking aside, I really love skiing and wakeboarding. I even owned at one time both a 210 and 196 (simultaneously!) in order to experience both sports fully without compromise. But after a few injuries wakeboarding, and after a continually increasing addiction to the six buoys I decided to commit 100% to slalom. I also got really tired of running two boats, so I sold them and got a new Ski Nautique 200. I added the tower and got the OB, and figured that this way it would also double as a good family all-around boat. Got the boat last week and it is sssssswwwwwweeeeeetttttt!
This afternoon I got the urge to take a wakeboarding set. I looked around the house and found an old 350# fat sac which I threw in the back of the boat, then added a (light) driver and a (even lighter) spotter. Well, I'm happy to report that the wake was actually pretty good. I would describe it as very clean and rampy. Definitely good enough for basic W2W tricks. No compare to my old 196 which had nothing but foam, and of course this is no 210. Was a lot of fun, and I'M sure that my kids will really enjoy.
Anyway, just wanted to share that. I'll try to borrow more sacs and report back on the wake then... unless the sky falls on my head or something.
