Please help- I've got a 2010 Ski Nautique Ski 200 OB (open bow). I've got a problem with it and I'm wondering if anyone else has the same problem or if it's just my boat. Problem- anytime passengers are in the bow area and I'm cruising at 25-35 and then put it in neutral to slow down, the bow goes underwater and the people get drenched, even in calm water.

Every boat design has some limitations. This is going to sound blunt, but if a certain way of operating a boat causes problems, don't do that.

my Gekko did that, AND I got a wave over the stern. Change driving habits...and enjoy the view!

I can do it with my 210 if I dont pay attention to my driving. Don't slow down so fast and understand you have a low free board ski boat . The same reason its so good at producing a great slalom wake is the reason its so low to the water.

I have a SN 200 OB and get water over the bow all of the time. It doesnt happen in smooth water if I have two (maybe 120-130 lbs each) in the bow, a driver and passenger on the bench. In this condiditon my bow dips to about the rub rail but we don't get anything over if it is smooth water. In fact, I teach my new drivers to go to idle and wait for the bow to dip to its lowest point before turning to pick me up. How much fuel do you carry? I don't think I have ever been below about 1/3 tank so that may have some impact.
