210 SANTE piggy back ballast port side.

    Hey Gang,

Just wanted to share with everyone how much of a breeze it was to plumb in a 750 flyhigh-fatsac on top of the factory tank.

I just un-did the hose clamp off the vent hose leading to the through-hull fitting and connected a quick-connect to it and then top of the 750 bag.

The overflow from the factory tank. Add a new hose with a clamp and then connected to the bottom of the bag facing towards the back of the boat.

Here is the 750 empty (port side locker)

I got the kit from wakemakers and it was very easy about 30 minutes.

I do have questions for people that have done the bow ballast piggy back, as I didn't see an easy way to go to the overflow on the factory belly tank. Anyone out there run an under bow seat 650 horseshoe piggy backed off the belly tank?

Here is wave on port side going 11mph on zero-off me driving(where image was taken) 1 up front and 1 on port side.

I have one in my 08 210. we cut the belly overflow hose and put a "T" in it to connect to both sides of the bow bag. then added new line to go from the front top of the bag to the overflow. i don't have a pics right now but will be home next week and we are using the boat on the 14th and can get you some pictures if you want. it works really well. only thing i have bad to say about it is sometimes the bag sucks down when empty and creates a vacuum in the system. i just remove one of the bottom filler plugs once the bag is empty to let more air in.

aww bummer you should of gotten the center locker sac. It is more easy to install and it is completely hidden and you get the same weight up front as you would with a sac that goes under the seats. Nautiques defiently need some weight up front. We run a center arrow sac plumbed, 200 in the nose, and an enzo sac plumbed. I would not recomend getting an enzo sac unless there is a fitting in the arm becasue the water gets stuck in the arm and its hard to get it out.

we got the bow bag before the locker one was ever made. been thinking about changing over cuz i'd like to have the storage back. who know's, might get the locker AND keep the bow. haha, you can never have to much water onboard.

You were able to fit 750 sacs in there? I'm pretty sure mine are the 400 sacs and there isny anymore room.

the FH 750 is 20 x 20 x 50 long = 20,000 cu in / 1,728 ci in per cu ft = 11.6 cu ft x 62.4 lbs per cu ft = 722 lbs. FH is counting on "Swell" to get to 750, where the sides and top bulge outward.

As I recall, the compartment height from top of the hard tank "pad" to the underside of the locker door is about 18" so I estimate about 650 lbs, assuming no siphon loss since the top vent is above the thru hull in level conditions, and even slightly higher under surfing conditions with a little bit of list. Which is why when I do my install, I plan to route the vent / overflow line to the opposite side thru hull -- I am hoping that this can be done along the inside of the transom to keep the hose install "clean". At this point, that would be primarily for surfing, and I'd be mostly factory ballast for WB. Going with the 721 in the belly.

That's a great idea to route the overflow to th opposite side. I may need to change t layout in my new 2012

Came from wakemakers, in all fairness. They suggested running it accross the front of the engine box but I think it will make a nicer install to wrap it on the inside of the back wall.

I prefer to keep my overflows on same side as that tank/bag so I just run the hose across to other side then back, works just the same.

I had the bow v under my seats in my 07 210 I just ran the center overflow to the starboard side leg port on bag and attached the overflow to the top port on the starboard side leg.

Good idea. Were the hose runs on the inside wall of the transom? Did you put the 180 vertical to act as a high point?
I haven't checked for available space yet.

We about to do similar, going for a 250kg port (think is 550lbs) Im not sure we can fill that right up either and the arrow locker sac up front, not plumbed at moment but look at for next season (which starts around nov, dec in New Zealand). last month really of our season almost.
I would think should be pretty sweet with around 4 people on board.

dont like to give up room but not much choice obviosuly has to go in port locker.

                        Cheers

Not sure what you mean about the 180 vertical? But yes I ran them on inside wall of transom.

For anyone wondering the 750lb fly high sacs fit perfect and fill all the way full in the rear compartments on top of the hard tanks in the 07 up San 210. Those boats throw an amazing port side wave and starboard side as well! Port is better ! The seat that flips up is ideal for port surfing I found that with driver sitting on passenger seat and driving from there and one passenger sitting on the lean back with a 400lb sac in the bow walk thru and center full rear + 750 full that surf wave is hard to beat! I did end up putting the bow v sac underneath my bow seats and integrated off the center overflow that way I didn't have the bag in the walk way and all ballast was auto and hidden! Just be careful as you can easily overweight the rear of those boats and the wave will wash out if it's washy get more forward weight or if u have lots of passengers drain some of the rear extra sac
