    Purchase of a '03 Air 206

I'm considering the purchase of a 2003 air nautique 206 black/silver. It has 170hrs on the engine. I have read the recalls that are available on this site and have searched for reviews online. I'm looking for a good all around boat for the family that will accommodate both skiing and wakeboarding. Any thoughts that previous/current owners of this boat have would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!!!

Are you (and your family) primarily a skiier with occasional wakeboarding or vice versa?

Wakeboarding 70% and Skiing 30% roughly.

I would probably steer you toward a v-drive then. The 206 is a great boat, but if you are primarily wakeboarding now, I would recommend a Super Air or Super Sport if you can find one in your range and that fits your needs.

How rough is the lake you'll be using? The DD's are not fans of rough water.

Here is my 206. We love it. Some days I wish I had all the ballast for surfing, etc. Eventually I see a 210 alongside a "classic" DD in my future.
