    Ditch the extended pylon?

I'm about to buy a cover sports cover for my 99 Air with an extended pylon. The cover obviously has to be taylored to fit over the added height.

What is good about an extended pylon? I've only had the boat since April, but I've never even put a line on it. I'd rather swap it out for a regular one so the cover fits better, and it's not in the way.

    What do you guys think?

Find a show ski team that uses Ski Nautiques. They like the extended pylon, it makes ATB acts easier. (ATB-Around The Boat)

They are very sought after. Post it online and you will get someone to trade you for a normal one in a heartbeat.

So you think I should swap it out?

Questionable.....I kind of want it but we have a tower so ATB is not really possible with the pylon. haha If I were you i'd keep it but that's just me. Why don't you use it? I would think it'd be handy for pulling skiers if you have people sitting in the back seat.
