Black rubber on swim platform- color coming off and tracking all over boat.

I have a 2005 SV-211. I love the boat and it has been great in every way except for the fact that the black rubber on the swim platform is leaving black on everything. The black is getting on peoples hands and feet and they then get it all over the white upholstery, making for continual cleaning.

Has anyone else had this problem and any suggested solutions?

    Thanks,

You can get replacements through a dealer or try seadek material instead. Seadek is what correct craft is now using on all their boats now.

I have an 07 SV211, i just replaced the top sano pads on the transom, 5 large pieces. You can get them from nautiqueparts.com I changed them to the gray nautique style cause they got extremely hot in the sun. (approx. $200) I did not replace the swim platform as the water keeps them relatively cool. But that said they don't cause black to hands, my sky ski gets some black marks but come off easily. You can buy the gray sano pads for the transom if you want as well. The old ones came off easily. I purchased 3m spray adhesive remover to get the last of the glue off, The new sano pads are peel and stick and go on in a minute. I let them cure a day in the warm sun before using. All in all it took me less then 30 minutes to replace

That is really helpful. Thanks a lot. Grey is a good choice and I will likely do the same.
