    1984 Ski Nautique 2001 w/351 Ford Engine

I'm new to owning a boat and we just finished rebuilding the carbeurator and installing new plugs/wires and a belt. I was told the impeller needs replacing every year and if anyone could send some pictures on the location, steps and proper ways of doing this it would be greatly appreciated?

    Thanks,

    KeepAustinWeird.

i am sure someone here knows where and how to change one on your 2001 but if you go to correctcraftfan.com they have all of the manuals online for every year correct craft boat and alot of the guys over there are gearheads and have older nautiques with tons of info on your boat. good luck

If this year has the one that can be installed upside down by mistake....search this site for a pic of the proper position and procedure. There is one write up on here for the non-serp old model....I'm not sure what year it covers.

Yes, this is one that can have the pump mounted upside down if you don't pay attention. Put the pump on the way it was previously, or simply don't remove the pump and just install the impeller.

Impellers don't need to be changed every year, unless you put a ton of hours on the boat. Every 2 years is adequate for most people, and it's a simple job.
