    Seeing the effects already

Well, since MasterCraft was bought out again, they are backing out of major events in the skiing world. They have pulled out all of their money to support the regional water ski tournaments and they have backed out of the Big Dawg Tournament in Ohio this summer. Malibu has also backed out of the Big Dawg Tournament.

This goes to show Correct Craft's support to the sport. I know that skiing has taken a major downfall but there is a rebound coming. Because Correct Craft is still family owned and not owned by an investment firm, they are able to poor the needed money back into the sport where it is needed.

MasterCraft is spending their money where they will make it (It makes sense but with such a small sport, they need to support ALL waterski and wakeboarding events alike). Not just the ones that provide easy income.

Thanks for your continued support CORRECT CRAFT!

SN. Thanks for the info. I wonder why Bu is pulling out of the Big Dawg.

They were bought out about 2 or 3 months ago by an investment firm. I can't remember the name though.

I know this can be controversial but as a member of a family owned company (member of the family and member of the company) since my great great grandfather I think to make money is not as important in a family company as in a investment firm owned company. Of course we want to earn money but we are prouder of our company and I believe we take more care (and maybe love) on the product we make.
And as I strongly believe in this I'll be a Correct Craft owner for life as skinautique said.

I can't see forsee myself ever owning anything but a CC when it comes to inboards, except maybe one of those HOT Air Victorias. Not only do they make the best product, but have the best run company. If my funds were limiting my purchase, I'd gladly go with a used CC over any other new brand.

Take a look at this interview of the CEO of Mastercraft (done by Wakeworld). It adds some insight into the whole ownership thing.
