    Radio Issue

This weekend was my 1st on the water with my (new to me) 05 SAN. Yesterday we were out, dropped anchor and swam about a hr with the radio on, then headed back to the pier. Approaching the pier I went to turn down the radio and no repsonse from the remote on the dash. So I opened the glove box and no response from the buttons on the radio. I flipped the toggle switch to "All Off", the radio kept playing. I finally had to crawl under the lift seat and pull the plug from behind the radio. I have not had a chance to plug it back up and see if its working correctly, hope to do that later today. But has this happened to anyone else? Is there some kind of lock on the radio? Its the stock Clarion, stock everything I believe. Any info would appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Eric

That's happened to me several times when something in the glovebox wedges itself against the head unit and holds down a random button. Was there anything in your glovebox that was holding a button down by accident?

If that's not it, try doing a hard reset by sticking a paperclip into the reset hole next to the eject button.

Shonuff, thanks for the tip. I plugged power back in and used the reset and it appears to be functioning now. There was a lot of stuff in the glovebox so I am sure that is what happened.

      Thanks again!
