    Is a 2001 Super Sport basicly a 210 ???

    Is a 2001 SS with a FCT2 basicly a 210 ??

Does a SS have factory ballast in that generation?

Same hull as a 2003 210 ? If not, better or worse for wakeboarding? Better or worse for casual / beginner skiing?

I'm assuming if it doesn't have factory ballast, it must have way more storage and adding after-market ballast is easy and sometimes better than factory?

Great article but left me with a new question.

If I'm reading it correctly, the SS hull was the same from 1995 to 2006 ???

Meaning, the ballast, seating, guages, and tower were the significant changes ??

I assume but the GT40 and the GM block were available during the '95 - '06 run as well ??

Does a SS have factory ballast in that generation? On a Super Sport it was a factory option.

Same hull as a 2003 210 ? I believe so. If not, better or worse for wakeboarding? Same. Better or worse for casual / beginner skiing? Recreational ski wake.

        Good luck!

From 1995 to 2006 the surface of the hull in the water did not change. The top of the hull changed slightly, for a slightly different deck.
In 1997, the Flight Control Tower was brought out, along with the "Launch Control System" (ballast tanks)

A Super Sport Nautique became a Super Air Nautique by adding tanks, a tower, and different decals. Same idea with Sport Nautique, and Air Nautiques. (the direct drive boats) You could order your boat with any combination of the equipment. If you wanted a tower on your Super Sport, you could do that, And put whatever decals on the side of it you wanted.

The Ford GT-40 engine became no longer available in mid year 2002. Ford quit making the engines, sometime in the late 1990's

In 2003, Correct Craft tried to change all the boat names to numbers. The Super Air, and the Super Sport became just Air 210, or Sport 210, because the 2002 Sport Nautique was replaced by the 206 or the 216. The 2003 Ski Nautique was renamed the Ski 196, and the SNOB (Ski Nautique Open Bow was also discontinued, and the 226 was also introduced later in model year 2003.

After much protesting from both dealers, and new customers, in 2003, the 210 was again renamed to either Super Air 210, or Super Sport 210. Correct Craft reissued new decals that said "super" in the same font and the other graphics already on the boat, and we had to put the new "super" decals back on the boats in the showroom, and the customers who bought a 2003 210 early in the model year could also get the "super" decals, at no charge.

But the bottom of the Super Air hull is pretty much the same from 1995 to 2006.

With the early Super Sports, and Super Airs, if you run lots of ballast, more than the factory installation, there may be some leakage at the rear of the boat. The Correct Craft factory was not anticipating people really overloading the boat enough to sink the rear part of the deck to hull joint below the water line

I called the dealer. It's obvious they sell mega yaughts and I couldnt speak directly with someone at the same location the boat is at. No answers for my questions available from the seller at this point. Waiting for call back.
