Tyler, I would be intrested to know where you placed the weight. That wake looks sweet.
Clubmyke brought most of the weight. He setup two water bags in the rear (approx 250 lbs. each) along with two 45lb. lead bags on either side of the rear. So total in back was approx 700 lbs. We then added a few more lead bags in the bow and one 300 lb. water bag up front as well. The rear swim deck was at least two inches under the waterline when sitting still. I have since ridden behind the boat with only the stock ballast and one additional bag and wasn't disappointed there either. The wake isn't what's holding me back Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

        Jeffsv211,
I'm praying for an early Spring for you and Hollywood! It was torture waiting as long as I did and I didn't have to wait for Mother Nature! I'm sure your first time out will be that much sweeter right? Did you say more pics? These are from Misson Bay on Sunday, with only the one extra bag.

Titan II's with MB Quart inside. Using a Crossfire VR404 Amp and 7 band EQ under the dash for fader control to tower speakers. I think they sound great both in and behind the boat. However, I don't have much to compare them too. Clubmyke (a true audiophile) gave me the thumbs up as did the guys at the dealership.

Where did you place the one extra bag and how much weight was that. I am thinking about adding 300 lbs of lead to the bow of mine. We had 1000 lbs on our other 211 without tanks and loved the wake with that much weight, but my wife ski's and hated the lead. I think that the 300 in the bow will give us what we want while boarding but not effect the ski wake too bad from up there.

not to hyjack, but it's related

in the third pic of the boat, there is a black spot, on the driver's side wall. is that a heater vent? if so, did you do that or did they move them in 05? I was going to add one to the passenger side, as the wifey, is disappointed that only I get toasty.

In the ski locker. It works well in there and doesn't restrict movement around the boat by taking up floor space. I had the whole family with me on Sunday and needed the space.

Yes, I had the heater installed by my dealer. They put one of the vents up there so it can be accessed by the passenger better.

the ballast is pretty much the same i was running in my 211 except for the bow... the front had a sac in the walkway ( i use 360 lbs of lead bags- pop products)..we didnt detect a difference between the lead and the sac.

something else regarding the lead in the rear lockers...we used pop products lead bags (40 lbs) and placed 2 them far back as possible and as close to the engine as possible in both lockers ( i know it sounds tweaky but it adds extra pop to the lip). and semi filled my rear bags - so the rear had 300-330lbs each side.

also had 2 bags where the removeable rear seat goes to move around and tweek the wake.

adding all the weight - 750(factory)+625(rear)+350(bow)+80(loose)=1800 lbs for a great wake plus 3 people.

speed was 22-22.5 and rope length was 75 ft..

jeff, i will have some lead bags for sale ( i have 17 of them and dont need as much - will see if tyler wants some- he has first dib. There will be 9 available.

will trade some for a 2000 lb ballast pump and / or a fat sac with cover for the front (fiigure $18 for a 40 lb bag plus actual shipping/packing. i will make up the difference in cash).

i like the lead but 17 bags is a hassle to move every single time.

                            tylerO,
Thanks for the pics... that should keep me for about another week LOL. At the boat show last month I talked to Wawasee Boat Co (who has my 211), and asked about getting a heater installed.. they were concerned about 'exerimenting' on mine (the salesman knows how picky I am) and suggested I wait until they try it on someone else. They said the 211 and 226 had a unique skirt inside the hull that might make installation different. Of course, they also quoted about $1000. I think that was the price in the orig. options list that I mistakenly past on.. but it was July when I placed the order.. who was thinking cold weather then??? Anyway, any pics of the heater locations/installs might help me out. Thanks in advance!

                              $1000 for a 3 speed heater seems a bit steep... :?:

I saw a pic from a 211 with the heater outlet not above the dashboard, but on the side of the dash. In this way the passengers also got a bit more warm air.. I think it's a cool (sorry warm) idea, but not sure if it works good enough.
I'm with Clubmyke; $1000,- for a heater is steep, way to steep imo...
