Considering a 2005 SuperSport 210 - any common issues to note, opinions?

    Hi all,
    Looking at a local 2005 supersport 210.
~200hrs, in good to very good condition inside and out, clean vinyl and carpets no tears, marks, clean hull, clean tandem trailer.
It seems like a really basic boat, with hardly any options - only has heater, shower and tower speakers with cd player and amp -no sub or interior speakers - not even a depth finder, plain guages (no bottom lcd other than hours)... but has FCT tower - no ballast, no perfect pass, no push button controls, etc.

Wondering if there are any common issues with this year/model - anything to keep an eye out for or best to avoid a certain year if possible?

Also what are your thoughts on pricing - was originaly thinking to wait for another month or two for more aggressive pricing?

Also - NADA is really weird on pricing - they list the supersport as higher than SuperAir for same age...?

    Cheers, Jeff

only things i can think of are the ballast valves and maybe a low pressure fuel pump recall(check recalls on this site). so the ballast is of no concern since you don't have it and will be able to install a better system. you don't need perfect pass, but if you have crappy drivers this will help when you ride. you're looking at around 500$ for two impeller pumps, then another few hundred for sacs, interior speakers and sub is another 500+. if it's super clean i'd guess an asking price would be 30-32

If you install a ballast system, get Johnson ultra ballast pumps from wakemakers.com. They are great pumps and cost $170 each instead of over $200 each for the Jabsco ballast puppies. That said, you may want to try the boat without ballast. It has a very good wakeboard wake with little to no ballast, so the only thing you really need ballast for is surfing.

Perfect Pass or some form of speed control is a must have.
