    update on weighing a 211..

update on weighing a 211 (addition to factory ballast)...got really good results last time out (4 people total )...

the results were from the very experienced riders, i was told this was it :!: the wake was fearsome !!! ( hurt my ankle so i am on a kneeboard till it heals)

-3 lead bags in each storage locker(3 bags close to the engine department) and 3 in the bow underneath the seat

3 ballast bags (about 300 lbs in each locker) and 500 lbs in front transom area...

so total weight of 750 ballast +360 lead + 1100 extra ballast

the boat planes much, much faster with the front bag and less lead wieght than the lead alone (400 lbs )

does anyone else have any insight / experience ?

RE: update on weighing a 211..

How is kneeboarding easy on the ankles? That's what starts hurting first usualy for me. Either way, heal up, the season is fast approaching. Also, what do you mean by "front transom area" with that 500lb sac?
