    211 Surf ballast question

Has anyone used a 750 sac in the stern of a 211, plus weight forward, with good results for surfing?

I am looking for ways to consolidate my set up and to plumb in a sac. Right now we run about 1,100 lbs. distributed over 3 manually filled sacs (350 bow, 370 mid-port, 350 stern-port). I am thinking about a way to combine the stern and mid into one 750, and to plumb in the 370 off the belly tank, but wondered if a 750 would be too much in the stern?

Also thought about the Center Locker Arrow Sac (650) along with a 750 in the stern. I think Mikeski has mentioned too much weight will make the wake crumble, so I am looking for suggestions. Thanks!

Any ideas or experience out there?

Answered my question: Did a test today with a borrowed 750# sac on the stern walk-thru and the 370 plumbed into the ski locker. Not nearly as good as our previous set up. Wasn't washy but just didn't have the nice shape as before and the pocket was smaller.
