Notice it is a carbed motor. That is somewhat unusual for a boat of this vintage. It probably runs fine but it's not worth as much as the same boat with the more common GT-40.

Considering I am seeing TSC1 hulls being listed at or around 20k and the owners not willing to drop the price, yes 10k was a good deal. (carbed or not)

I didn't notice that but now I feel even worse. My goal is to get one with a carbed motor so I can build a 400hp small block and not have to worry about the fuel injection mapping.

I know of an open bow 1997 in Minnesota that's carbed, listed on craigslist for less than 15k.

Thanks. But I'm looking for closed bow.

I'm on a sloooow mission to find "just" the right combination of two boats. One for wake/surf and the other for foot/slalom. (But without spending a lot of $$ and irritating Mrs.AirTool.

On the footer/slalom, if I can't get either one of my kids to get interested in slalom. Then footing will be the focus. i.e. outboard that is AWSA approved. Lake rules require this approval. I'm pretty sure a 400 hp SN with the right prop would be a good footer...but it will still be hard to compete with my buddy's outboard Sanger.

I have a 95 SN with a carb'd engine that I may (stressing "may") consider selling (dang, I can't believe I actually typed that). If the TSC hull is not critical, feel free to send me a PM. I use it for slalom and the occasional barefoot run. Top of the line condition.
