Not so good labor day weekend

My weekend started off ok as we dropped the boat down from our lift and proceeded to have a good time.

On the way back to the dock I forgot to spin the boards back inside the boat

Once I drove into our slip I heard a crunching noise and watched as my inland surfer board got smashed. That was a horrible sight. Later that evening I repaired with jb weld and sandpaper. Looks bad but works.

The next day I noticed the wind was up bad. I had our kids so went out anyways. The water was rough and stirred up. Once we came back in and lifted the boat I noticed a dent in the prop. I must have hit a log or tree.

Man I'm glad this weekend is over.

one time we were going through a canal with a low bridge so we had to put the tower down. it was one of the newer towers that folds down with one hand. what we didn't realize was that as the tower went horizontal, the boards (4!) all went vertical. we were about 3 feet from losing over $2000 in gear when i screamed and my husband, realizing what was about to happen, jammed the boat in reverse.

it was a close call and a lesson learned!!! sorry about your board!

good thing its just a board and a prop. Could have been much worse.
