Ordering a 2012 SAN 230 - opinions on colors

Hi all -

Im new to this forum, but have been a Nautique owner since the age of 8..well, was sponsored by them at 8 and have owned one all my ADULT :-) life.
Just traded in our 2003 Nautique 226 and have committed to a 2012 SAN 230. I'm pretty confused on color schemes but wanted an opinion on the following scheme:

Deck Stripe: Masters Blue
Hull Accent: Silver Metal Flake
Hull Side: Masters Blue
Hull Bottom: Silver cloud

Its pretty much like the 2011 Coastal boat they had on website but with a SIlver Cloud bottom instead on an all masters Blue bottom....Im really torn between a colored hull or sticking with Silver Cloud.

We are flying down to Orlando in October to do the factory tour and see all color schemes in person and make final decision then......

Also any comments or opinions on going from the 226 to a 230 are welcome as well - --- bring on the color scheme opinions and suggestions - thanks all.

I prefer the silver cloud hull myself. Nice choice with colors, it will look great.

I am personally partial to the Silver Cloud bottom.

We have both .... a colored hull on our 200 and silver cloud hull on our 230 - I like them both for the overall look of the boat - but remember the colored hull will show rub marks from the trailer much easier (if you trailer a lot)

Too funny - we run a 2010 white Denali as well..
Do you guys think the silver metallic accent stripe will look good And stand out enough or better to go with deralds setup and do the black accent stripe ???

What's the opinion on the transom mounted stereo control? Get it or not ?
Looks clean without it - but seems functional ??

Get it and go with a white bottom. I have black and it is never clean, all dirt and swirls show....wish I had white!!

you guys really helping me confirm what i should order - - last thing I'm concerned about is on the interior - not sure whether to do the main stripe in the masters blue - seems like thats a lot of blue and also - do the textures in the white or black carbona ??

What Ive looked at has been -

Interior theme - titanium grey
Main Strip - Masters Blue
Accent Piping - Titanium Grey ???
Textures - Onyx Black Carbona or White Carbona ?? (lean to the onyx black but looking for opinions)
Non Skids: Titanium Grey or Faux Teak ?? (dont really like the faux teak with this themed boat - but looking for opinons)

I didn't get the transom remote with our 2012. I think that is the only option I left off. I have never once needed to adjust stereo volume from the back of the boat but that is just my 2 cents.

When using an iPod the volume/mute are the only buttons useful on the remote anyway. I prefer the clean look of the transom without it as well.

Black carbona looks good with the masters blue. Faux teak not so much.

I have the transom remote and like it. I control my ipod through the USB port on the CMD-6 so the remote gives complete control of playlists, album selection, etc... I find it useful on the water but also if I'm running the stereo on the driveway while loading/unloding/cleaning. I also like the remote interface more than the LINC interface... I've priced out the remote, splitter cable, and 2009 version of the stainless dash insert the remote mounts in... replacing the storage/video insert with this combo is one of my witer projects.

Regarding the textures.. I like black - looks sharp. Black is tough to keep clean though - sun screen tends to find all the nooks and crannies.

Thoughts on the primary interior stripe ? Go for the masters blue as primary or tone it down ?

Masters Blue for me... this with the white seats and black textures. Our 196 was darker blue so we were a little concerned about the flashiness of Masters Blue... love it now.
