Faux Teak vs. Titanium Grey

Hi All - - need the forums help on deciding on the non-skid surfaces for our 2012 SAN 230. At first I was dead set on getting the Grey, but the more I look, the more Im not sure. The exterior of the boat will be:

top stripe: Masters Blue
bottom stripe: Silver Metalic Flake
Hull side: Maters Blue
Hull Bottom: Silver Cloud

Heres a few pics of the identical interior of what Id order with both the faux teak and the grey non skids - shoot me some opinions on what you'd go with - I guess Im a little concerned with which one will look better and hold up better in 5+ years...but mostly concerned about which one looks better with the overall look of the boat - considering both the exterior and interior color schemes. Thanks

I'm old school, go with the Teak!! I think it offsets the colors better.

I am old school too, but faux teak is not teak. It is just another color on plastic.

Choose whatever color you like.

With that color scheme I like the gray. I think it enhances the interior colors

I like the grey. I have grey on mine, but not the exact same colors as yours. My first thought looking at yours is that the grey flows nicely and matches the vinyl, especially in the walk through. Just my .02

I agree. I like the brown on red or black boats, but with blue, I say go with the gray.

yeah - kind of agree Jeff - with that color scheme the grey flows better - just thought the teak popped the colors.-----that being said do you do a masters blue Platform or silver cloud ?

Yep, I realize that it's not real wood, I was referring to the color.

Teak all the way. I think more people will like the brown. The grey is just a little bland.

Faux teak all the way. I think it looks much better. In my opinion, the grey is boring. I realize it's not real wood, but it reminds me of wood, which is a good thing. It's similar to getting wood vs chrome trim in a car. Given the choice, I'm always going to go for the wood.

I like the faux teak better with a silver cloud platform and the grey with a masters blue platform -- I do not like the teak with a masters blue platform

I'd go with the teak. I have the masters blue 200 OB on the Nautique website. Everyone that has seen my boat likes it.

I'd probably go grey no matter what.

But for the masses and resale, etc....I'd say teak on direct drive and gray on v-drive.

OK - for argument sake - lets assume we're going with the titanium grey non skid surfaces (platform etc etc)

With the exterior and interior we've outlined - Masters blue top stripe, Silver metal flake stripe below rub rail - Master Blue Hull Side and Silver Cloud Hull - -

The question of the day is - Master Blue Platform or Silver Cloud Platform - -? 2 pics below of one of a 210 and one of a 230 - but with the SC and MB platforms - you get the idea...
