I like the blue platform, but it will cost you, and it will show scratches a little easier than the SC. I had one of the first black platforms ever on my 2003 210. It looked great, but did require additional maintenance to keep it looking good.

I have to admit the blue platform looks the best....but you will hate all the scratches it shows especially if you wake board or use the platform alot from loading and unloading, even flip flops hold sand, pebbles, and grit that will leave white scratches in your blue gelcoat. White hides it alot and does not fade. Also its really easy to clean. Get the white and go with grey inserts!!!2009 SANTE 230

Tnrider ---
I dont see how that make sense -- "will show white scratches" ??
The blue color goes very deep - so tonsee anything but blue - you would have to have a seriously deep
And severe scratch - would you not ??__________________________________________________

That wouldn't stop me from getting a colored platform if I really liked the look though, but I would go with white and faux teak if it were me.

If the colored platform gets scratched up - can't I just buy a new platform and replace the scratched
Up one ? -- sure it will cost a few bucks to do so - but can you buy just a replacement platform ?__________________________________________________

First thing were going to do when our 200 sport comes in next week is have 3m clear bra installed on the Green Platform edges and the leading edge of the trailer fenders. The platform will still be non slip because of the faux teak but a board/ski should slide off nicely, if the clear bra wears I'll replace it. My neighbor installs the stuff on high end cars for a living and it should work fine on the boat. Might not stop all scratches but should minimize the issue.

Definitely a charge for deck stripes on 210 or 230, charge for hull bottom and swim platform color as well. When you go to metal flake there is a whole nother set of upgrade charges (requires 4 layers; clear gel, clear w/ flake, color, & barrier coat).
As for scratches, almost all colors when scratched show white, even though there is no white gel there. SC platform is for the long term low maintenance person, colored platform is the wow factor with a lot of upkeep and anal protection.

Ive decided to go with the Master Blue Platform with Titanium Grey non skid surfaces - - agree with the forum - silver cloud less maintenance, but when your buying a $120K (retail) Ski Boat - you are obviously going for some WOW and Bling factor.
Besides, as I said - if it gets too scratched up - just buy a new platform every couple years.__________________________________________________
