pop up pylon conversion 2007 SANTE

We have an 07 SANTE and it does not have the pop up pylon at the rear. I saw an 08 and it appears its the same diameter as our pop up lift ring installed now.

Has anybody done this conversion? or can it be done easily?

I think the pop up pylon is oval and the lift ring is round. You need to order the pop up pylon kit and the transom sano kit to make it work.

I don't have a 2007 here to look at right now. We switched one out on a 2009 210.

2007 210s had a factory option pylon that is fixed height located above the transmission/ Vdrive area. Later 210s had a pop-up pylon. Maybe can adapt a pop-up pylon to work in an 07?

The pop-up pylon is a terrible design IMO. Vibration and impact from from on the water use and trailering make it nearly impossible to twist it to release. It was such a pain in the *** I left it off our 2012.

                  Hey folks,
Digging up an old post to continue on this topic. Considering some of the mid-2000 SAN boats have no lower pylon, that leaves the only option to tow from the lifting ring for a low tow point for cases where you don't want to tow from the tower (ie: a bunch of 5 year olds on a tube - yeah, save your comments about tubes). Anyone else install a pop-up pylon/lifting ring kit to replace the basic lifting ring? How did that work.

Attached are two photos showing the ring. Yes, people use this for towing I understand, but I also understand it is not ideal so I am wondering if it is an easy swap out for this part:

                  Item NO. 90093 PYLON COMBO LIFT/TOW POP-UP

                  from Nautique parts.

                  Thanks for your thoughts.

There's nothing wrong with towing a tube from the tower. I've been on my buddie's G23 when he was pulling THREE tubes from the tower at the same time.
