Click on link and read this thread about skiing behind a 210 which is the Byerly Icon. Also on page two of the thread there are pictures for you to look at. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Gride is right. You have to drive all of them to know for sure what you want. With that said, if you are even remotely a baller, you will hate anything bigger than the 200V. The 200 will ski great, and be more than adequate for surfing, boarding, etc. A 210 will be great for surfing, boarding (naturally), but completely suck for skiing (again, unless you're just interested in open water rec skiing). I hate to use the word "suck", but no sense in sugar coating it. Heck, a 200DD would suck for boarding too.'08 196LE (previous)

You can slalom behind a Washington State ferry but without knowing what your definition of "slalom" is, you won't get a valid answer. 5150 is right on (go Mr Van Halen!) you have to demo and ski (whatever "ski" is to you) to know what fits your needs. I've skied behind a 210, once, and won't do it again. Major air, major yard sale. But then I only ski the course, that's my definition of "slalom" skiing.2004 196 LE Black/Grey

I'll be brutally honest. The answer is no - not if you are remotely serious about slalom skiing.
I'm a slalom guy (but board a bit) and I've skied the 196 (a lot), 206 (a lot), and the new 200 Sport (several times). I've boarded and surfed behind the 230SAN and 210.
First of all, I wouldn't even consider slalom behind the 210 or the 230. Those are not slalom boats period. Not fun at all.
The 230 is has a wicked board wake and surf wake. I wouldn't even ATTEMPT to ski it.
If you're serious about slalom, the 196 or new 200DD is what you want without compromise.
I love skiing the 196.
Cheers.
The 200 Sport actually has a really good slalom wake even at long line, which surprised me. Normal bump at -22. You can surf it and board it. Board wake not near as good as the 230, but quite decent.
If you have lots of cash, a 200 Sport is about the best hybrid I've been behind, but pretty expensive in my books.
Really assess what you want to do and pick the boat from there.

No offense, and I'm sure you're rightfully excited about getting your boat, but you sound like a 12 year old. The answer is no. Can you learn spins and flips behind the 200v? Definitely. It's 3' shorter with about 8" less beam than the 230. Like we have said, you may be better off buying 2 used boats. A 196 and a 210 or 230 would do everything you can imagine.
