A 230 going to top out around 48

Remember, your not buying a Nautique or any other ski/wake board boat for top end speed...

Top end will vary within the CC line of boats and depends on what engine you get. To me the low end torque/holeshot is more important than the top end.

Also depends on which prop you have on it. If you care about top speed and are not a barefooter, then you should not be looking at Nautiques.

I was surfing with friends this summer on their boat and PP had been turned off so I got to find out what surfing at over 20 is like...big laugh for all the kids in the boat. I hung in there a long as I could before I crashed.

hard to slap water to catch the pocket at 20 mph, its like my wife when she was giving me hand signals (i'm an INT certified tow driver so I know signals) she kept ups up and up with her thumb. Well I had her up to near 30mph on 65 foot of line before she face plants. I spin to pick her up and shes yelling "why did you speed up!! You told me to!! No I wanted the radio turned up!!!!"

LOl. I guess she forgot to point to her ear first. I always put my hand to my ear like I can't hear what the driver is saying... that usually works... after about 3-4 minutes or so.

My 2010 210 with the power prop ACME 1547 runs about 38-40 @ 4,000 RPMs.

                        It's a TOW boat, not a bassboat.

Don't forget the XS550 an option now, that should make even a 230 a barefoot if your gas card can handle it.
