That's what makes things great, if everybody had the same likes and dislikes this would be a dull planet. That's a nice boat and you will have a lot of fun on it, good luck and happy boating.
I hear MC wants to use the boat for promotions...Try negotiating before letting them have it. THey made the boat specifically for promo. Ask for an extended warranty or an upgrade engine! You have nothing to loose - you already own they boat, and they don't.
Add....and Talbertini....where does it say that you have to be the person that makes the boat payment to post on here? If my son(only 8 and doesn't even know what Planet Nautique is, let alone a Nautique) wants to post what a great boat is rides behind, does he have to worry about you saying that he should shut it until he makes the payment?
Like I said on another forum, there are too many people pitching the hate on these BB's. Sometimes I wonder what issues they have within themselves that makes them want to bring others down.
Here's another way to look at it Duece. This kid brings nothing to the table except "look what my parent's bought me". He probably could not even find the drain plug on that thing let alone change the oil. He never intended to get a CC, in fact, he was over on Wakeworld asking people if he should buy a the X-80 or the X-star because he wanted to drive it from Naples to the keys through open water. I have world's more respect for the folks who come here trying to fix up their 2001's so they can wakeboard for about 10k.
It is all relative though, you have the have's and the have nots. Best boat my family could ever provide me was a 14ft aluminum boat with an antique 20hp engine. We took it camping with us, not to one of our three houses. I in no way have any anymosity toward this kid, I think it's a great boat and know alot of trust fund kid's who blew twice as much as that with their drug habits, rehab, and crashed sports cars. So it's pretty cool that all this kid ever dreamed about was a pimped out wakeboard boat.
Congrats on your MC purchase, you are living the dream.

When my parents first bought a Nautique, I had no clue on how to change the oil for 12 years. That part of your post was irrelevant in my eyes.
As far as sending him to another site, why? Why can't everyone get along and not worry about what the side of everyones boat says. The world is small and the boating industry itself is even smaller.
X-Star, enjoy your new boat and stick around to keep posting with us. No need to never visit this site again.
No doubt ski, that was irrelevant, but I only meant it to calm people down either way. The kid is excited about getting a boat and people get boats, or use their parents boats all the time. I certainly don't mean to slam him or anything else, In fact, I tried to sway him toward the X-star and to not try to drive it across open water to the keys. He came to the Wakeworld site looking for advice on boats and really was only looking at the X series stuff, so it's kind of odd he showed up here at all.
Like I said, I have seen alot of rich kids get what they want and often times it was narcotics and it ruined their lives. At least this guy likes wake & ski boats like the rest of us. Hopefully his parents have enough sense to teach him to be safe with it and he learns to change his own oil and protect his $90k investment in fun.
Flux I swear this kid would be in a CC right now if it weren't for that exact blue MC. And frankly I don't blame him for his choice. But I don't think he'll be leaving the site, not with me still around at least...
