The BEST deal ever on a new 230...

So I was wondering what the best possible deal you guys have seen on a NEW sante 230??? I am in need of two of them and will purchase yesterday if the deal is good enough. I have what I think is a decent deal on one boat, BUT I think it can get much better especially with 2 boats at once. The problem I have with boat shopping is the stupid sales areas boat dealers have...it's almost like if you don't like the deal your dealer gives you, tough s@#$...

So what have you guys seen out there?

Email every Nautique dealer with in 1000 miles. You can have them shipped if the savings is worth the expense.

White Lake, Buxton and Stucky's (when they had Nautique) have always been the dealers to beat.

Maybe just in my area..I live in minnesota, but when i inquired about a nautique in wisconsin the dealer said i could not buy a new boat from them. i would have to call my local dealer and have them contact wisconsin dealer to get the boat. the wisconsin dealer would only sell me used.

Thanks for the replies guys! The boats are for my company and I usually wait until half way through the summer to buy the second one. I figured this time I will knock them both out at once to try and get a better deal. I thought about emailing/calling the factory to check on setting up a direct deal just as I had with other brands, but nautique is one of the few boat companies that I have absolutely zero contacts at!

contacts or not, Nautique will not sell you a boat or boat(s) direct - you must go through a dealer.

I've seen a 2007 236 for 50k with 30 hrs...not brand new but 30 hrs is nothing and it was in perfect shape. As for a new one a friend got one shipped from Penn to Texas for 54. It was 2 years old but the dealer still had it. It was a limited, but was loaded so he made them add perfect pass and pretty much got a team out of the deal

btw, may not have been Penn, somewhere up there tho. If you look around you can find a deal, but they don't come often and you have to be ready to pounce when they do.

Correct...no brand will. I have always gone 'through' a dealer meaning all paperwork and giving them credit for selling a unit. Going to the factory cuts out quite a bit of cost...especially if they have a blem hull or something they need to move. I have actually had some really cool colors that were considered blems because they never went to production.
