SAN 210 Questions from a Newb!

I do want to be able to surf, although 90% of the time we r wakeboarding, my whole crew is left foot forward so is surfing a complete no go unless I go 06 or newer? And OK we may could work something up especially if u happen to know somebody who wants an 05 möbius ls right now haha! Although it would cost me about $1200 bucks in diesel to make the 800 mile trip n the f350 so would have to b a screaming deal haha

The port side may be 'surfable' on a pre-06, but it is not good.
I have an '05 & we simply surf backside - it is no harder than frontside once you get your head around it.
The port side wave can be jacked up for sure, but it really suffers from a lack of power due to prop rotation.
The starboard side however, can be made nice & long & it has big meaty power.

I have to disagree that the port side surf wake is not good on a pre 2007, i have a 96 super sport which is the same boat as a pre 07 and i take the rear seat out (occasionally, but its not a must) and put around 2100 pounds in various spots and the surf wake is awesome on the port side, yes it is harder to make but you can get a very nice wake to surf, i will try to find some pics. My only slight complaint is the lack of room in the boat with more than 5 people, if you are going to have more than 5 or 6 alot, than you might want to look harder for an 07.
