PerfectPass completes testing of its ZO simulation software

Anyone familiar with or get direct feedback on this testing ? Have been contemplating upgrading my 06 196 SE to Zero-off, but it is expensive and the upgrade shops are a long way from Raleigh NC. Wondering if this may be an alternative, I would have to do the Star Gazer upgrade and then this upgrade - sounds like closer to $1000 vs $4500.

Is Zero Off available for an '06 model? I believe the throttle-by-wire wasn't installed until '07, and Zero Off has to have an ECU controlled engine in order to operate. If Zero Off is available for your boat it should cost about $1600 and is a pretty easy install, if not the Stargazer upgrade should cost between $500 and $700 depending on if you need a new multi-line display.

'06 was the first year of DBW, but you do need to swap the ECU.

For ZO, Because the ECU has to be changed, it is expensive and only done by a few shops.
