    Not sure why someone would have done that. If it were me, I would probably cut that off and just re-wire with a standard 3-prong plug that you can use an extension cord for. Lowes or any hardware store will sell the ends. Before doing that tho I would make sure its all wired up properly to your battery(s).

    I bought/installed a 3-bank NOCO for my boat last winter when they ran the black Friday sale on the NOCO units and also bought the built-in plug outlet and had it installed into the front of my built-in cooler. Makes it super easy to plug in since I don't have to open up the observers compartment or fish around to find the wire. Makes it convenient since I trailer and keep boat in my garage, I leave mine plugged in pretty much 24/7 when not on the water to keep my batteries in top shape. They last longer that way and never had any issues

      Very nice. I may end up doing something like that. Just ripping out the ProMariner and installing something better. I like that remote plug. Handy.
