wow that is a lot of offshore dealers.

I wonder how much customs bribe it takes to get a Nautique past customs in Nigeria.

If you do buy one in nigeria, watch out for floating dead bodies.

I'm wondering if all the new south american dealers still have to buy through Miami Ski Nautiques or that they can buy directly from the factory. Anyone know?

I'm glad they added a dealer in my Kansas City area. I didn't like having the closest dealer nearly 4 hours away from my dock.

...that must explain why when I e-mail the factory, I never get a response back... Maybe all those people in the Nigerian internet cafe' scams could get a response from the factory...

The new dealer in northwest Oregon is Active Water Sports, in Oregon City.

There are a number of new dealers, but CC also pulled some dealers from the network. We lost Son Watersports here in western WI. Fortunately, we still have Water Craft Sales, who are absolutely awesome to work with.

I had heard a rumor that marine max was adding the Nautique line at the Ozarks. I was actually hoping that wasn't true. It seems to me they are a franchise type of dealer. Time will tell how they are with service and their knowledge base of our brand.

My concern as well. I've really liked the small shops that have carried Nautiques around KC but it's pretty clear being a niche one-trick pony is a risky business. As near as I can tell Marine Max bought Sportsman's Outfitter and Marine just off 470... it's been for sale and I drove by the front of the shop today and there's a Marine Max banner up... if nothing else I'm diggin' the location!

I think what has happened is that two separate area boat dealers (Sportsman's and Bruce Marine) formed a loose partnership and are now doing business jointly at the Sportsman's Outfitter & Marine location. They had to consolidate and share costs to survive. Sportsman's Outfitter & Marine sells Harris and Glastron. Bruce Marine is now selling Sea Rays, Nautiques and Malibus on behalf of MarineMax. One or two of the guys from B&B Marine moved over there as well. Part of the story is explained at http://www.sixpercent.org/forums/ind...howtopic=23429

I just found out that Summit Boats and Gear in Lee Summit, MO is now a stocking and service center for Nautique and PCM in the Kansas City area. I sent my Nautique for service to Gary and Josh in the past when they were just with Supra/Moomba/Indmar. They did good work and were very customer oriented. Great to know that I now have a Nautique and PCM stocking and service center near me with guys I already trust.
