Does anyone know if the windshield from a 97 closed bow 196 will fit on a 98 closed bow? My 98 closed bow has a walk through windshield missing the center section. I've had no luck locating a replacement piece. I have located someone wanting to sell a 97 windshield (no walk through) that I hopefully can replace my entire setup with. Any thoughts?

Where were you in August, when I needed a windshield for my 1997 Ski Nautique.
Superior Inboard, in Lake Oswego, Oregon has a Walk-through windshield, I believe. If interested you can google them, or PM me.
My original windshield had a square frame. The replacement windshield has a rounded top frame, I assume from a later model Ski Nautique.
The Ski Nautique used the same hull from 1997 through 2002. I have worked on a 1998 ski Nautique, a church owns, and have also worked on my 1997 Ski Nautique. I am pretty sure the hull, and deck on both boats is the same. You may need to fill some or all the old holes used to attach the old windshield to the deck, and drill new ones.
