2000 Sport nautique or Pro Air or Air nautique

I believe the only difference between a Sport and Air Nautique is the ballast and tower. What is a Pro Air, how is it different from an Air Nautique and do they all have the same hull? Does the Pro Air provide a decent ski wake? Appreciate your thoughts!! Looking for a good all around boat for the family.

The proair has lifting strakes on the hull and bigger relief pockets added to help lower the boats hull in the water for a bigger wake. I actually loved the wake for boarding, just not enough space for a big group of riders. I had a buddy with one and we spent alot of time behind it. If you can find a deal on one I would by it over a regular air if you are into boarding.

I have had a 01 Pro air for 3 seasons now, and I have been very pleased with it! When I wakeboard I run about 2500lbs and the wake is awesome! Boat does get a little cramped, but every DD boat does. I also really liked the surf wake with about 1800lbs, not a super long wave, but very surf able. The ski was fine, fairly large roster tail, but I skied it 34mph+ just fine.
