Black is standard. Pay extra for any other color. Boat is Black with Blue hull. What would you go with?

Black always looks really nice, in my opinion, and that's what I've historically gone with. For me, I prefer a black trailer too, and I think a black cover tops off that color rig nicely.'08 196LE (previous)

I was told that black helps get moisture gone faster. Not sure if its true but I have a red vented cover on a boat and a black one on the other and the Nautique (black cover) smells better after a long cover.2008 210 SAN TE (Moonraker Yellow over Midnight Blue)

My only consideration is this:
The boat is kept in an indoor completely enclosed boat house year round. The boat honestly sits more than its used, so concerned that bugs, dust, and nastiness will be more prominent on a black cover. We have a black bimini on the boat and it requires being taken off once a year to be washed and treated because it starts to get a white build up of dust and spiders on it. Fortunately, that's easy enough to do, but a boat cover isn't the most accessible thing to hand wash and leave to dry on a table.
Was considering going with a Blue/Navy Blue to match the color of the hull, but might stick with black.
Have you noticed Black fading in the sunlight? The swim deck pokes out from under the garage door in the dock and even though its Sunbrella, the Florida sun can still have its affects on fading in direct sunlight.

Noted somewhere above...black gets hotter than other colors which might eliminate moister faster which could contribute to a fresher smell.
On the other hand, in direct sunlight on a 100F day, it might get so hot it causes damage underneath. That's been posted on here before.
I did see the part you are in a covered boathouse.

Weve had several black sunbrella covers. They were used on the lift (prior to canopy install) so they saw sun 24/7 during the summer. No fading to speak of. They also hide dirt and mold better than any other color cover we've had.1990 Ski Nautique
