    Post 2008 210 questions

    Questions 210 Owners:

For people interested in getting a 210, but haven't test driven one, can you provide comments on how the hull handles rough water? How would this be compared to a 211?

Alos, does the new 210 have higher free board (distance from the waterline to the top of the gunwale) that a 211?

    TIA

I have only been in a 211 a handful of time, but I feel like the 210 is a little deeper due to the higher freeboard. I think the hull does well in rough water...no inboard is going to do great being what it is. The best riding boat in rough water I have ever been in was my old Tige because the Taps gave some ability to trim the boat (the hydrogate does similar).

I think the 210 has a great advantage over the 211 in wake though. Wider, bigger, and more ramp/pop in my opinion. I really like the idea of the walk through on the 211, but I think it messes up seating and storage options.

211 has a 20 degree v bow to stern 210 has 20 bow 4 stern. Flat *** means fat wake.
