So this is probably an off the wall question - but since I dont know and there seems to be a wealth of knowledge on here, may as well ask - shame on me for not knowing or asking, just never thought of it)
So my 2012 SANTE 230 is built and about to be shipped to our dealer (to be stored till spring) - but my question is, I see the 2012's comes with the Clarion CMD7 stereo - - do these have either XM or Sirius satellite built in or if not capable of and how ??
I chose to add any and every stereo option from the factory - but after reading many threads and posts here, I see that may have been a waste anyway as it appears there needs to be some modifications/upgrades to the factory systems to make them what Im likely to want it to be...(which is sad - buying a $120K retail Ski/boarding boat should not need any further upgrades or modifications) - I know this is subjective as the "stock" stereo system may work for many - but according to many threads and posts on here, even the "upgraded" stock system leaves a lot to be desired (again, sad I say) -- but I wouldnt know as this is our first true factory built-to us boat other than promo boats back in our competitive skiing days, but those boats were much different than what we're talking about here and now.
Again, like I said, I dont know the factory stereo system not to be fantastic and wonderful, Im just summarizing what a lot of others have stated on here - I hope it is awesome....but if its not, then it will be changed on my rig too.
