    Reciever Hitch

I posted a while back on wanting a "N" logo reciever hitch cover. I never could find one so I was going to have a limited few machined. My question is could I get in any trouble for having a few made? I dont want to infringe on any copyrights or anything like that.

    Thanks

Probably. That is why businesses have trademarks, patents, etc.

Now, if you were to give them away, maybe they wouldn't have an issue. But you might want to send CC and email just to be safe.

And if they give the go ahead, do something like use www.nautiqueparts.com for distribution.

The ones we were going to build would be all machined aluminum with a tig welded sleeve for the hitch to slide in. They would be a nice thick stock with the "N" machined in the center then we would paint the background so the N would really stand out. Still thinking on it though...

I would be interested in one if you made them. Does anyone know a place that sells the plastic ones in black with a chrome "N"? I used to have one and lost it when I sold my last truck:-(

                          "N" plastic receiver cover

This guy had a doz or so listed not long ago, not all were the chrome "N" but you might contact him to see what he has left or can get?
