It's December 22nd, and the sun is turning back in our favor! I have wicked cabin fever already, and the lake just froze over. Merry Christmas everyone!

I will admit I wasn't thinking ahead yesterday and didn't adivse of this great Solstice. I've taken off from "working" since September and I've lost track of the date and sometimes even the day of the week. Unfortunately, the vacation will end soon and I'm going to have to go get a new job. We boarded 4 or 5 times a week in September and it was the best equinox we ever had. Of course, I was born on the Spring equinox so that particular equinox was a good one, too.
OT: The spring equinox is actually the first day of the solar year...I was born on New Year's day if you are die hard Sun worshipers like us. So celebrate this great day...next stop? Happy New Year !!!! - in MARCH !!!!

PS - I'm hoping Jeff noted this day on the calendar.

I just had this conversation with my kids earlier this evening. I don't think they appreciate it just yet, but they love their summers of fun on the boat!BKinSoCal - Brian
