I am looking into buying a 206 that is a few years old...Somewhere in the 2005-2008 range. Is there a model year that is more or less desirable? Does anyone know what year hulls were the same?
All years are the same hull. '06 introduced drive by wire, which can be converted to ZO. '08 forward allows ZO to be plug and play. That's about it for major changes.
What Scott said & :
First model year for a 206 was 2003
TSC2 Hull 03'-05'
TSC3 Hull 06'-09' (most significant change with TSC3 was adding the Hydrogate I believe)
In 08' PCM increased HP on the Excal and ZR motors by about +15
Other minor changes from year to year, check out the reference section on www.CorrectCraftFan.com, you will find brochures covering all the model years of the 206.
