    Over-the-top bimini on my 2005 SANTE 210???

Does anybody offer this product? I want the bimini on top of the tower.

Pretty sure everyone knows what tower I'm talking about but here is a picture as a reference to show the tower I have (not my boat):

BTW, what's the diameter of that tower? My boat is stored at the dealer.

Off subject but is it ever a problem or a pain that your boards are so unlevel when they are in the racks?

Towerbiminis.com, yes, but John has only made a few for that tower you posted, I know because I waited on mine until he could get the measurements. We love it, great coverage and don't have to duck under it all the time.

Here is my over the top bimini on the same tower. It is a New Dimensions Bimini installed by New Dimensions by the previous owner. It is incredibly well built as well as looks awesome and is very solid

I know that they make moving around the boat easier, but you might as well forget the bimini altogether if you put it that high IMO.
Anytime of the day other than midday, you won't have good shade in the boat.

Don't we normally want shade the most during mid day when the sun is the hottest? In the earlier & later hours we are usually wanting the sun...

This bimini is probably 6-7ft long or more, so alot bigger then the under tower biminis as well to provide more shade

I am in Brisbane Australia & if you aren't out of the shade by 8:30am you're likely to burn badly.
Sorry, I was just having a rant - I am a bit cranky as it's hot as & all I want to do is go riding, but it's pouring rain....

Thanks, I had seen those before just couldn't remember the name. I've having trouble with the ''build it'' section, how much are these?

Thanks! The one pictured is not exactly my tower, I'll try and e-mail them for pictures. I underestimated how expensive these were going to be.

March?? you're crazy! lol I'm in Montreal and there is now way you are riding in march, the lakes are still frozen!
Your bimini is really nice but I'm not sure about the part that goes back down towars the rear, I want to install big tower speakers there.

Do you have a ballpark price?

I don't think I would want one that wraps around the rear bar as I will be installing a pair of Wetsounds PRO485 on the tower, wonder if that would cause a problem?
I guess these all come with the necessary holes for the light and the tow rope hub (or whatever that's called)?

The Tower Bimini brand (under) is very nice, solid fit and has great coverage. Never had an "over" style but looking at it would also question how much shade it would provide when the sun is not directly overhead. Click my link below for pics of an "under" style.

Couple things to consider about the "under" style:
Head banging, your muscle memory will adjust very quickly, believe me, your new guests may need reminders however. This same problem will exist with your speakers if you have an "over". I found myself never head bangin the bimini however on the rare occasion w/no bimini and speakers you would "forget" sometimes, and bang the speakers.
If you need to fold your tower often, consider whether or not the bimini needs nothing, to be booted or removed completely to fold down, as an example, the tower bimini brand connects to both the folding and stationary bars on the FCT2, so it needs to be booted to fold the tower, on my 99' with FCT1 you could fold with bimini up.
If you go with an under, be sure it is height adjustable otherwise install with speakers in place to ensure the speakers will fit.

Here is a close up, did end up raising the bimini tight to the underside of the speakers:

I already have a nice bimini that installs under my speakers but I would love the extra head room. I wonder if I would lose THAT much shade coverage? Basically the bimini would be 14''-16'' higher than my current one.
