    Looking at a 2005 SANTE 210

Hey everyone. Finally found a buyer for my boat and am looking to join the Nautique family. I have had my eye on a 2005 Super Air Nautieque 210 Team Edition not far from me here in Michigan. It looks to be in great condition, and a lot of options, tandem trailer etc. Its listed at $38K and siad he would go as low as $35K. Just trying to get an idea on pricing. Is this a solid range? It only has 300 hrs. I havent looked at in person yet to see how good of condition it is in. But Paying around 35K based on what i have seen on here seems fairly reasonable. Obviously i would like to pay about 33K but we will see.

    Any thoughts?

Also, boat is winterized and probably wont be able to see it run. Is it acceptable to call his marina/servicer and inquire about the maintenance and running condition?

    Thanks for the help.

I would def. call to find out about maintenance. I sold a mint 2005 about 2 years ago for 33,500, and it sold in two weeks. Probably could have got more, but needed to sell it due to a home purchase. I would say if it is in excellent condition, (either a 9 or 10 on a 1-10 scale) that 35k would be fair.
Good luck! And a pre-emptive welcome!

Inquire about maintenance records and if you can wait, take a test ride. I think you could probably get it for $33,500. I just saw a 2004 SV211 mint sell for $31,500.

Thanks for the guys. I appreciate it. I am heading to see it tomorrow. The seller is out of town but his mechanic from his marina is showing it to me. So i think he will give me a fairly good perception of the boat over all and how wel it has been maintained.

I sold my loaded 2005 210 Team two years ago for $34,100. It had just over 300 hours on it and I am what my wife calls anal. It was cleaned well after every use. Regular maintenance. I believe I got a fair price for both the buyer and me when I sold it. I would anticipate the boat you are looking at being worth no more than $33,500 if it's loaded and well maintained, but worth is all in the eye of the buyer. If you're willing to pay it, it's worth that much.

Depending on condition and options, I think $35k is in line. I too am purchasing a boat. 2002 SANTE 210, pretty much every option...probably a 7 out of 10 overall. Listed for $28, got it for $26. Been doing a lot of research and both your price and mine seem to be in line, or maybe on on the lower end.

If you love the boat, I would not let 2 grand break a deal, especially being close to home. I am paying to ship mine from Dallas to Grand Rapids.
