Anyone know why the speedometers on my new 95 SS are faded? All other gauges are white, but both speedometers are faded to a yellow. Obviously it wasn't a deal breaker.

apparently they stand out more than the other gauges. I don't have a great explanation for it but I have seen it happen before.Comment

The gauges are different brands, different manufacturers. Airguide speedos and VDO gauges most likely...Comment

That's why I always cover my dash with a towell when the boat is not moving. Keep a lookout for these speedo's for sale, they become available when people put in a perfect pass.Comment

Different companies use different (or no) UV inhibitors. OF\"The voices aren\'t real...but they have some good ideas.\"Comment
